Significance of NCSC
  • National Council for Science & Technology Communications (NCSTC), Department of Science &Technology(DST), Govt. of India initiated NCSC through out the nation.
  • National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) aims to attract and involve school going students of 10 - 17 years age towards Science.
  • Around 5 lakh Students, Teachers, Scientists, Academicians and Officials not only from India, but also from ASIAN Countries take part in the mega activity of NCSC every year.
  • Telangana State Council of Science & Technology (TSCOST) is the Nodal Agency for NCSC in the State of Telangana. The Member Secretary, TSCOST functions as the State Coordinator of NCSC.
  • Through this NCSC, Children bring out their hidden potential and exhibit their latent talents by attempting solutions for local specific problems on scientific lines and there by develop interest towards pursuing Science &Technology.
  • More so, NCSC acts as a catalyst to motivate children to move towards research in Science &Technology.
